Baby Troy was born October 1st at 5:40pm. He weighed 7lb 11oz & was 20 inches long. It was a very amazing experience but I don't have much time now days so I'll have to write about it all later. Here are some pictures for you all though :)

& next week...BABY!

I spend most my Friday afternoons at the Dr since we go every week but yesterday should be the last one before his big day! We talked to the Dr about how Troy is not head down. Troy seems to think he can just come out butt first, so the Dr told us what options we had....

Option 1. They would have me come into the hospital on a scheduled day. They'd give me an epidural & 2 doctors would try to turn Troy from the outside >_< So there are a couple of complications with that. I could go into labor right away which wouldn't really be bad since we're there anyways. He might just flip right back around anyways. He could get stressed out, my uterus could rip, or the placenta could come unattached & then we'd need an emergency delivery. None of that sounded very good to me & they said its not that big a chance that any of it would happen but even if we tried this there would be a 50% chance that I would have to get a c-section anyways since I'm so close to my due date.

Option 2. Schedule a c-section.

So we decided on not taking the risk & just scheduling the c-section. They said it would be this next week & they would call on Monday to tell us what day. I was a little overwhelmed when we left the Dr. cause I always imagined that I'd just do this the normal way. Not that I really have anything against a c-section, I knew I would get one if I had to, it was just sort of different knowing I would have one for sure. But I'm ok with it now & I'm more excited than worried, at least I will know what day & time....as long as I don't go into labor before then!!

Almost There!!

I can't believe he is almost here!!! I'm a little nervous still but mostly excited!!
So last Friday I went back to the Dr. & she said that not much had changed. I guess we weren't moving along as fast as we thought. One thing was they always measure my tummy when I'm laying down & this time I measured less than I had the week before. She said that usually means that the baby has dropped more which it looked like he had, but she wanted to get an ultra sound just to check the fluids & his weight. They were too busy in her office so they sent me over to the hospital to get it done. The ultra sound lady didn't really tell me anything, she just took a lot of pictures & measured things. But I did find out that he is head up.... I was a little surprised since I thought he'd already turned down but I guess not. So we'll see how it goes.
I think I'm having more contractions now. Some times I'm not sure if its really a contraction or what. Everyone is starting to guess when it will happen, my mom says he'll be late but Alyssa says this Sunday... I hope sooner than later cause I'm ready for this part to be done, but it's all up to him now.
Oh & here is a picture at almost 38 weeks!! This Friday it will be 39, AHH!

So I don't have any new pictures but I promise I'll take one cause you all need to see this belly :) I can't believe how big it is, some people say I look small but that's mostly strangers.
Everything has been going good. My Dr. had me stop working at about mid August cause I was having a lot of cramps especially after I was on my feet a lot. I had been cutting back my hours already but I didn't really want to stop completely. It helped a lot though & I was having a hard time keeping up with my tables anyways.
So, he's dropped down now. I can tell because first of all you can see that its lower, I can breath better now, & also because for a while I had to eat a lot of pretty small meals. There just wasn't any room but now that he's dropped I'm able to eat normal sized meals again, YAY :)
Also he really likes to stick his feet (at least I think they're his feet) into my ribs now. It's usually on the left side but let me tell you , it doesn't feel too great.
Well, I went to the Dr. on the 11th & she said that I have at least one week left. I was like...one? Oh my!! I mean it could be longer but just the realization that it could be so soon is crazy. I'm so excited but also a little nervous...
